Aluminum CNC Machining

The part blank is made of aluminum alloy square stock, with 33% of the material being removed from blank to finished product. The machining features are distributed at eight different angles. After a process analysis, a total of 63 cutting tools are required during machining, including milling cutters, boring tools, step drills, and step reamers, among others.

To help the customer improve production efficiency, a high-efficiency five-axis high-speed machining center is used, allowing all features to be machined with just one setup. The machining time per piece is only 88 minutes.
